I swear… If they mess this up in movie format… people will be hurt. Never has a graphic novel kept me up all night. (My copy is being loaned out right now) It is so gritty and dirty and complex, it makes my soul shudder. The characters were so real and emotional, you actually could see why they’d be so cynical. The art was fantastic sequential story telling. I was sincerely floored by it. Even the tie-ins to the comic the kid was reading through out the entire novel. Blah, I’m just really pulling for this film not to suck.
